You are invited to enjoy my selection of
photographs. They have been taken over a period of time by a number of my passengers and
local photographers, all of whom appreciate the huge range of motifs, moods and
colours of our Flinders Ranges.
In fact, many people come to see the Flinders Ranges at first hand,
after been inspired by South Australia's own famous artist, Sir Hans Heysen. Numerous
artists now come to the Flinders Ranges to create their own interpretations of this
remarkble environmentally diverse and scenic area.
There is no better place anywhere to see this work than at the Annual Hawker Art Exhibition,
held each year since 1983 in the local Town Hall, the Hawker Institute at the end of
September and early October. |
